Eight days remain until the Georgia Senate runoffs come to a close. Next Tuesday, the nation will find out whether or not Republicans will keep their current control of the U.S. Senate. In order for the GOP to maintain power in the upper congressional body, Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler must keep at least one seat.
In Georgia, residents have until December 31 to vote early in the special runoffs. The final day for voting will be January 5, the day of the election. Perdue and Loeffler are each in avid races against the Democrats looking to take their seats in Congress; however, both GOP senators have received support and endorsements from top Republicans, organizations, and PACs.

Yesterday, President Trump announced via Twitter that he’s coming back to Georgia in precisely one week; during this stop, he will hold one more rally to get out the vote for Perdue and Loeffler, according to Newsmax.

On Sunday night, the president declared that he will be in Georgia next Monday to support Perdue and Loeffler. In making this announcement, Trump furthermore stated that America needs both Republican incumbents back in the Senate.
The Republican National Committee is sponsoring the rally. Likewise, the rally is going to take place at the Dalton Regional Airport. Doors will open for seating at 5:00 PM while the event itself kicks off at 7:00 PM.

Since the announcement, Perdue and Loeffler have both taken to social media to express gratitude and support for President Trump. The commander-in-chief has repeatedly backed both candidates, imploring his base and Republicans in general to cast their votes. Moreover, Trump affirmed that not voting does not combat election fraud, but merely hands a sure victory over to radical leftists.

With only eight days remaining until Election Day, it’s safe to note that the Georgia Senate runoffs are in the home stretch.
