The 2024 presidential election is the one chance Republicans have to ensure that Joe Biden is a one-term president. Right now, Biden is using the White House to ram through one executive order after the other; this comes on top of the ongoing border crisis, Biden’s commission to probe reforms to the Supreme Court, etc.
Between now and 2024 comes next year’s midterm elections. The 2022 midterm races are the GOP’s chance to ensure that Biden no longer has a blank check to pass extreme policies through Congress without Republicans’ support.

Although 2024 is a little ways away, Republicans are still getting things set in motion now. In a Monday interview, former President Trump hinted at running for president again in 2024.
Could Trump 2024 be on the Way?
The former president’s sit-down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity yesterday marks his first major interview since departing from the White House in January. During the interview, Trump discussed a series of matters from the 2024 presidential election, how states are bouncing back from shutdowns, and the leadership of different governors.
TRUMP: "Some governors were fantastic... Some were less than fantastic, and some were absolutely terrible. Ron did a great job, Texas did a great job..."

HANNITY: "Most red states."
TRUMP: "It's interesting, isn’t it, though? They did a really great job." pic.twitter.com/1nPEh48gQe
However, Trump confirmed that he is “beyond seriously” looking at a 2024 run for president. The former commander-in-chief explained that it ultimately comes down to “the odds”; another important factor is how Biden’s policies will ultimately impact Americans’ lives and public sentiment by the time that 2024 rolls around.
The former president later noted that for legal reasons, he doesn’t want to commit to or against seeking the White House again in 2024.
Other Viable Contenders for the 2024 Presidential Race
Within the past several weeks, rumors have surfaced that former Vice President Mike Pence is preparing to seek a presidential term in 2024. Furthermore, there is talk of Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis running for president in the 2024 presidential race. Multiple polls have shown very strong GOP support for a DeSantis 2024 candidacy.

If Biden continues as he’s been thus far, the 2024 presidential race may prove to be his undoing. Already, Biden is responsible for a massive border crisis, lost jobs in the oil industry, and more. All of this comes on top of the fact that institutions like the Supreme Court and policing are under attack from leftists that Biden has emboldened.
