Trump Drives Final Nail in Biden’s Coffin–Joe’s Biggest “Win” Is Done

President Joe Biden’s economic policies have been nothing short of catastrophic. Instead of focusing on relief for struggling Americans, his administration splurged trillions, fueling rampant inflation.

The price of everything—from groceries to gas—has soared, thanks to Biden’s reckless spending and regulations. Costs have ballooned across the board, with higher prices in production, transportation, and labor. Only the mainstream media and die-hard liberal voters could spin this economic free-fall into a success story.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans rejected the narrative and cast their votes for Donald Trump. They remembered the strong economy of his first term and knew he’d restore it.

Biden left the country in financial shambles, but Trump is ready to clean up the mess. His first target? Biden’s bloated “Inflation Reduction Act” (IRA), which spent billions on green boondoggles and progressive pet projects.

President-elect Donald Trump is planning to redirect unspent Inflation Reduction Act funding to spending on infrastructure, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

“President Trump will rapidly defeat inflation and bring down all prices by ending the Democrats’ anti-energy crusade, which will cut energy prices in half during his first 12 months in office,” Karoline Leavitt, Trump-Vance transition spokeswoman, told the DCNF in a written statement. “He will also terminate the Green New Scam and rescind all unspent funds from the so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ and redirect them to spending on real infrastructure.”

President-elect Donald Trump has big plans to redirect the unspent funds from Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. His strategy is bold: cancel the Democrats’ green initiatives and put the money into real infrastructure projects.

Trump’s infrastructure focus is a stark contrast to Biden’s spending priorities. Biden shoveled taxpayer dollars into “environmental justice” grants and other progressive causes. Now, Trump plans to use those funds for projects that actually benefit Americans—roads, bridges, and perhaps even the border wall.

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is a $1.2 trillion climate spending spree that passed without a single Republican vote. Nearly $105 billion was set aside for “climate” initiatives, much of which remains unspent.

According to reports, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) still has at least $3.5 billion sitting idle. Of that, over $1.5 billion was earmarked for vague “environmental justice” grants. Critics argue these grants often funnel money to left-wing advocacy groups with little accountability.

Republican Rep. Morgan Griffith didn’t mince words, calling out the EPA for its rush to distribute funds before Biden leaves office.

“I would hope EPA Administrator Michael Regan would not take the extraordinary step of rushing the distribution of more than $1.5 billion dollars to obscure groups,” Griffith said. The unspent funds present a prime opportunity for Trump to redirect resources to more practical projects.

Trump’s plan to reallocate the unspent IRA funds is sure to face legal challenges. Under the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act, there are strict limits on how much IRA funding can be reprogrammed.

Critics argue that redirecting funds without congressional approval could violate the 1974 Impoundment Control Act, which requires the executive branch to spend appropriations as directed by Congress.

But Trump isn’t backing down. He’s vowed to challenge the Impoundment Control Act in court if necessary, arguing it infringes on presidential authority. “Reasserting the president’s historic impoundment authority will also restore critical negotiating leverage with Congress to keep spending under control,” Trump said in a campaign video.

Trump’s critics, including Democratic Rep. Brendan Boyle, are already crying foul. Boyle labeled Trump’s plan a “dangerous” power grab, claiming it would undermine the economy.

But let’s not forget that Biden’s so-called “climate law” did little to address actual infrastructure needs. While Biden funneled billions into politically motivated grants, Americans struggled with rising prices, crumbling infrastructure, and a stagnant economy.

Trump’s infrastructure push is more than a policy shift—it’s a return to common sense. By redirecting funds to projects that create jobs and improve everyday life, Trump aims to rebuild America’s economy from the ground up. And with Democrats scrambling to defend their failed policies, the contrast couldn’t be starker.
