In his debate with Ohio Republican Sen. J.D. Vance, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz admitted to being "a knucklehead" who "misspoke" about being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre.

Nevertheless, a recent appearance on Fox News suggests that Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate isn't done with speaking falsehoods.

Walz again blames abortion law for woman's death

According to the New York Post, Walz once again brought up a Georgia woman named Amber Thurman as he spoke with "Fox News Sunday" host Shannon.

The Post recalled how Thurman died as a result of complications stemming from her use of the abortion pill mifepristone in conjunction with misoprostol.

Walz echoed remarks he made in his debate with Vance saying, "States like Georgia force women to cross the border and then we have the death of Amber Thurman."

However, Bream pointed out how Thurman's family has filed a lawsuit in which they allege that her death was actually caused by medical malpractice.

Governor lied about using IVF to conceive children

Walz also addressed the fact that earlier this year he falsely suggested that his wife used vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive their children.

"If it was up to J.D. Vance, I wouldn't have a family because of IVF," Walz said in an interview clip which was posted to social media by the Harris campaign.

Trump called for mandate to cover IVF treatment

Yet as the Post pointed out in August, Mrs. Walz actually underwent a different procedure known as intrauterine insemination (IUI).

"I don’t think people care whether I used IUI or IVF when we talk about this. What they understand is Donald Trump would resist those things," Walz said when speaking with Fox News.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported earlier this year that Trump called for requiring insurance companies to cover "all costs associated with IVF treatment," saying, "Because we want more babies, to put it nicely."

What's more, Walz was asked about a bizarre moment at the debate that saw him claim to have become "friends with school shooters." In response, the governor said he was "speaking passionately about gun violence and misspeaking."
