l media, by direction, is distracting their viewers with concerns about where the Trumps, including Ivanka and Jared, are going to call home. You know. Important stuff.

Most of the Democrat’s attempts at proving Hunter’s innocence have exceeded all ridiculousness. But at least they succeeded at convincing their liberal base which is no big feat.

Perhaps the biggest and most outlandish hair-puller came just recently when Michigan Democratic Sen. Gary Peters accused Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of buying into and spreading, Russian propaganda with regards to the Hunter Biden laptop scenario. Peters said everything Johnson has been saying is disinformation.

Johnson, in his current role as Chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, was called on to speak at a Senate Hearing on Election Security & Administration. He managed to skillfully twist his answers in the direction of Russian disinformation, and with obvious reference to Peters, said that “the people peddling it are not on” his “side of the aisle.

Investigations surrounding the information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop were conclusively determined to not be Russian disinformation as so many had been quick to claim. But Peters doesn’t believe the Justice Department. They’re working for Trump and so is Johnson.

Later in his testimony, Johnson left no doubt who he had been referring to when he pointed out Peters by name as the culprit who was guilty of purposely spreading disinformation he was receiving from the Russians.

“So, it’s just galling and I just have to point out that the purveyors of Russian disinformation – Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the DNC, the Steele Dossier, the Ranking Member Peters accusing Sen. Grassley and I of disseminating Russian disinformation, that’s where the disinformation is coming. That’s where the false information, the lies, the false allegations,” Johnson accused.

Peters attempted to interrupt Johnson, but Johnson was gonna have his say. He kept right on talking as he said that Peters had “lied repeatedly in the press.”

“You lied repeatedly in the press that I was spreading Russian disinformation and that was an outright lie and I told you to stop lying and you continued to do it,” Johnson said, staring directly at Peters.

“This is terrible, what you’re doing to this committee and all the great work that you’ve talked about,” Peters yelled out as Johnson shot back with his own accusation. “It is what you’ve done to this committee.”

Just before putting an end to the conversation, and with his neck veins still popping, Johnson told Peters, “Falsely accusing the chairman of spreading disinformation, nothing could have been further from the truth and you’re spouting it again, which is why I had to respond.”

With that, the room fell quiet. Peters knew he had been caught in the act and he had nothing further to respond with. Bam!

This is not the first recent case, nor will it be the last, of Republicans in the White House finding the need of putting their Democratic colleagues in their proper places. Now that their egos have received a shot of Red Bull, they’ve become ever so childishly cocky.

At least they’re Democrats so there is no real challenge in setting them straight, and after the voters who put them in charge realize the mistake they’ve made, things will come back around to being as they should be in four years.
