A similar situation is now playing out when it comes to reopening schools. The CDC has already given the green light for children to return to their classrooms. Countless studies have also shown that the learning and development of children are taking major hits from online education.
Biden, however, is prioritizing left-wing teachers’ unions over the health and education of children. He’s also ignoring the science he professes to value, hence leading certain Democrats to begin calling to reopen schools, confirms Breitbart News.
Bipartisan Support for Getting Children Back to School
Republicans have long stated that Biden needed to get young people back in classrooms and among their peers. The science has supported this also, showing that teachers do not need to be vaccinated in order to safely return to work.
Biden, however, isn’t listening because he wants to appease the teachers’ unions that don’t wish to return. Yesterday, an interesting turn of events occurred when New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Democrat, professed on live TV the need to reopen schools.

During an interview with Morning Joe, the Democrat mayor of New York declared that “this whole country” needs to promptly reopen its schools. De Blasio then explained that while testing and masks are used as precautions against coronavirus, schools are “the safest place” for kids.
De Blasio then stated that “enough is enough,” noting the suffering that children are going through amid deprivation from classrooms. The New York City mayor also explained that not going to school is horrible for the emotional development of young people.

At this point in time, the ability and need to safely reopen schools is deeply apparent. However, when confronted about this, Biden does all he can to dance around the issues.
