The New York Times propaganda machine churned out another comedic headline, this time declaring that “Every Day is January 6” in the headline of an op-ed, Fox News reported.

The once-prestigious institution ran the piece as the one-year anniversary of the famous Trump rally in DC approaches.

Its partisan hackery was on full display as the editors condemned Republicans as un-American, while insisting that the Democrat party truly embodies America.

According to the editors of the Times, Republican lawmakers have continued the attack on democracy initiated on that day.

They specifically cited the Republican’s attempts to limit voting rights to voting-age citizens rather than illegal immigrants or foreigners — an attempt which they see as radicalism despite America’s long history of only allowing citizens to vote.

They called for the ending of the filibuster in order to ram through partisan voting legislation.

The Republican party’s aim, in their view, is attained through “a bloodless, legalized form that no police officer can arrest and that no prosecutor can try in court.”

They also accused the party of attacking America’s institutions using violence, unlike the mostly-peaceful Black Lives Matter rioters.

“In short, the Republic faces an existential threat from a movement that is openly contemptuous of democracy and has shown that it is willing to use violence to achieve its ends,” the editors wrote. “No self-governing society can survive such a threat by denying that it exists. Rather, survival depends on looking back and forward at the same time.”

Some took to Twitter to mock the fear-mongering headline.

“Counter-argument: Every day is not Jan. 6,” one tweeter posted.

“A scare-mongering editorial designed for one purpose — to get Democrats to nuke the legislative filibuster to passa hyper-partisan election reform bill,” another wrote in reference to the NY Times’ support of ending the filibuster.
