The 2022 midterm elections get closer and closer as each day passes. Right now, Democrats have power in the White House and slim congressional majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
This has made it easy for Democrats to pass bills such as the American Rescue Plan; the only thing currently barring Democrats from passing more far-left legislation with no checks-and-balances is the Senate filibuster.

Republicans next year will have a chance to take back power in Congress and thereby save America from the leftist legislation that Democrats are all too eager to pass. the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is fully confident that the GOP will have the House majority again after next year’s midterm elections.
The Strategies to Regain the House Majority
This week, NRCC chair Rep. Tom Emmer spoke with The Hill about Republicans’ prospects for taking back the House majority. Emmer explained that the GOP conference remains strategic and united in the work to regain congressional power.
According to the NRCC chair, Republicans have already honed in on 47 different “offensive opportunities” where they can win. Some of these opportunities also comprise districts that Biden lost in 2020 and ones where Biden won by slim margins.

The unpopularity of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democrats’ refusals to reopen schools, and the socialist takeover of the Democrat Party are each themes that the GOP will remind voters of, come 2022.
As Democrats work to ban voter ID laws and keep schools closed, they’re losing support from Independent voters; meanwhile, Republicans are gaining Independent voter support. This is something that will be crucial for the GOP to regain the House majority.
Getting the Nation Back on Track
Many Republicans are eager to fix the crises that have come from the Biden administration thus far. These crises include an overrun Southern border, lost Keystone Pipeline jobs, and also increased problems for schoolchildren.
Despite remarks about unity, Biden has not followed through on working across the aisle; this, too, is a matter that Republicans can bring up as they work to regain the majority in the House.
