Justice has finally been served, as Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti has been found guilty on all charges in the Nike extortion trail.
Avenatti, known for his very public hatred of President Donald Trump and his time as the lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, was found to have attempted to extort $20 million from athletics wear giant Nike.

If you’d forgotten what happened, prosecutors in 2019 said that Avenatti had created a scheme to “extract more than $20 million in payments from a publicly-traded company by threatening to use his ability to garner publicity to inflict substantial financial and reputational harm on the company is his demands were not met.”
Separate charges accused Avenatti of embezzling his client funds to cover personal expenses.
Following the court case, Avenatti has been found guilty of transmitting interstate communications with the intent to extort. He will now face sentencing, which is scheduled for June 17. The judge did warn, however, that the date may change.
Prior to the verdict being read out in the court, Avenatti is said to have made the sign of the cross and to have stared at members of the jury. As he was being led away, Avenatti told his lawyers “Great job.”
Avenatti’s defense attorney told the media that there will be an appeal.
This still isn’t the end, though. Avenatti is still waiting for two other trials relating to his former client, Stormy Daniels. He is alleged to have stolen Daniels’ book advance, and to have committed other fraud while in California.
An associate attorney working on behalf of Nike, Benjamin Homes, said that meetings with Avenatti had evolved into a “shakedown.” Nike lawyers said on the stand that Avenatti threatened to hold a press conference in which he would allege that high school basketball players were illegally paid by the company.
Avenatti then, allegedly, suggested that he would not make the public statement if Nike agreed to pay his client, a youth basketball coach, the sum of $1.5 million for claims made, and to pay up to $25 million for an internal investigation.

The South District of New York U.S. Attorney, Geoffrey Berman, issued the following statement:
“While the defendant may have tried to hide behind legal terms and a suit and tie, the jury clearly saw the defendant’s scheme for what it was – an old-fashioned shakedown.”
Looks like Avenatti is finally getting what was coming to him all along!
