Early Saturday morning in the Sungarden neighborhood in Citrus Heights, California, four homes were reportedly targeted by arsonists for flying American flags.
Authorities are investigating the situation and have yet to identify a solid motive, but the most obvious similarity of the four homes was that they were all flying American flags, and all four flags were set ablaze. Police are requesting Sungarden residents to assist them in identifying the suspects.

“If it had burned longer, it would have caught the house on fire,” one of the four victims said. Another one said that such an incident never happened before and that it was the first time, while the other victims just want to know why the suspects burned their flags in the first place.
Despite the timing of the situation, police have yet to connect the burning of the flags to the nationwide protests and riots for the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd. One of the victims, Marie Nuzzi, also said that she didn’t want to believe that the crimes that happened in her neighborhood were in any way related to the protests across America. “I just think it was kind of a random thing,” she said.
However, it is highly likely that these crimes were related to the ongoing riots, as their supposed to be “peaceful protests” have all turned into chaotic, uncontrollable riots with people vandalizing, looting, and burning down establishments and neighborhoods. Moreover, recent stories show that leftists tend to invoke harm on innocent, country-loving patriots.
Last week, news reported that a man who refused to let go of his American flag during a BLM protest in Portland, Oregon, was mobbed by angry rioters. Caught on video, the man was seen to be standing peacefully, holding his American flag, when an angry BLM rioter wearing a “Fuck Trump” shirt came up to him and suddenly punched him hard on the face. The man was dragged onto the street as the angry rioter was joined by others and tried to pull his flag away from him. Then an onlooker came to the man’s rescue and tried to stop the crowd from assaulting the man holding the flag, but the rioters turned on him and started beating him to the ground. The man lay unconscious and helpless on the street until a group of “medics” helped him up.

Charlie Chase, the victim, was in Fall River, Massachusetts, when a 27-year-old stranger suddenly stopped his car, approached him, ripped his sign, and then threw him to the ground.
