House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has announced Republicans’ plans after the 2022 midterm elections if the GOP wins the House majority.
He suggested his party would create a bipartisan committee to investigate China, which will find out the real origins of the coronavirus.

China’s ambitions will be scrutinized under Republicans
Last month, Republicans wrote a letter to President Biden and asked him to ensure transparency and cooperation to investigate the origins of the pandemic.
According to GOP officials, the federal government has fallen miserably short of providing authentic information regarding the pandemic.
When Republicans of the House Foreign Affairs Committee announced the results of their investigations, ranking member Rep. Michael McCaul indicated the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is involved in the “greatest cover-up in human history.”

In their report, Republicans were majorly focused on different events in and around Wuhan province; this suggested the virus may have been present in the region as early as September 2019.
This was almost three months before China’s World Health Organization office acknowledged on December 31, 2019 there was “viral pneumonia” in Wuhan.
Thus, McCarthy asserted the bipartisan committee they make would have one American voice regarding many persisting US-China tussles, including why China is capturing critical minerals and how it’s trying to occupy American medical supplies.

Biden will live nightmares if GOP wins the House
Likewise, Leader McCarthy claimed the committee would also investigate Biden’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
While the Biden administration was continuously in troubled waters for mismanaging the withdrawal, a new report by Republicans of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has troubled him.
The report stated the Biden administration failed to plan, coordinate and execute a proper withdrawal from the war-torn country.
Similarly, GOP senators believe the government wasted precious time and did not take advantage of intelligence reports and recommendations from people who were experiencing everything on the ground.
Likewise, the report mentions Biden declined offers of bipartisan support that could have pulled him out of trouble.
Top Pentagon officials have acknowledged the president refused to make data-driven decisions.
Last year, General Mark Milley testified in front of Congress that he advised Biden to keep at least 2,500 troops within Afghanistan. However, Biden maintained he did not remember receiving any such warning.
According to McCarthy, Republicans can make Democrats accountable on many fronts. He suggested the claims of Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer regarding Hunter Biden will also be investigated if Republicans win back the House.

Schweizer noted Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, had deep business relations with a pro-CCP Chinese businessman; he even called him “Super Chairman.”
Thus, he claimed Biden’s family benefited from millions of dollars, due to their vested interest in China, something which McCarthy thinks requires a lot of answers.
