The Southern border is a rapidly-growing crisis that President Biden and his administration are refusing to be openly honest about. As a result of Biden rolling back the immigration policies that former President Trump had in place, the border has gotten out of control.
Right now, the migrants arriving at the Southern border on a daily basis are overwhelming the facilities at this border. Moreover, there are reports of migrant children suffering from days without sunlight, missed meals, and sleeping on floors.

The Biden administration needs to get its act together…and quickly. Unfortunately, though, it appears as though the American people will be the ones to pay for Biden’s mistakes. According to Breitbart News, President Biden will be using taxpayer dollars to fund the hotel fees for migrants crossing the Southern border.
Your Tax Dollars at Work
Under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shall have 1,200 migrant families put up in hotels for six months. This will happen through a non-profit in Texas and shall amount of $86 million; of course, these funds will come from the American people who pay taxes.

Apparently, these hotels that U.S. taxpayers are going to pay for are set to be used as centers to welcome these migrants; likewise, Biden also has plans to release border crossers into the nation, presumably once their hotel stays come to an end.
This news arrives as the nation learns that facilities at the Southern border simply can’t house all the migrants arriving on American soil.
Why So Many Migrants are Coming to the Border
There are two reasons why so many migrants are coming to the Southern border. First and most importantly is Biden’s choice to revoke the immigration policies from his predecessor. Secondly, by revoking the aforementioned immigration policies, Biden essentially let illegal immigrants know that it’s open season to come to the border.

It’s quite an unfortunate situation. However, it is one of the Biden administration’s own making. Right now, they’re refusing to be forthcoming with the American people about what’s happening; additionally, the Biden administration won’t reinstate the successful policies from the previous administration.
