America has seen an unprecedented flood of illegal immigrants under President Joe Biden, with even some in the president's own party beginning to protest.
However, that fact hasn't stopped Biden from going on the offensive by accusing former President Donald Trump of having a "racist" approach to immigration.

"Mass detention camps, attempts to deny children born here citizenship, uprooting families with mass deportations — this is the horrifying reality that awaits the American people if Donald Trump is allowed anywhere near the Oval Office again," Moussa was quoted as saying.
"These extreme, racist, cruel policies dreamed up by him and his henchman Stephen Miller are meant to stoke fear and divide us, betting a scared and divided nation is how he wins this election," he continued.
"The American people chose unity over division and hope over fear in 2020 when they elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and sent Donald Trump packing, and they’ll do it again next year," Moussa went on to add.
Trump promises "the largest domestic deportation operation in American history"
Politico noted that Moussa's comments came in the wake of a New York Times report that examined some of Trump's immigration and border security proposals.
They include banning entry from a number of countries as well as the widespread deportation of illegal aliens and the use of Title 42 to exclude migrants.
The website pointed out that Trump has made illegal immigration a major focal point of his campaign and brought up the issue during a recent rally in New Hampshire.
"We’ll stop the invasion on our southern border and begin the largest domestic deportation operation in American history," Trump told rally attendees.

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung later reiterated the former president's message in a statement provided to Politico.
"Joe Biden and his administration have made a conscious decision to allow our border to be wide open, allowing criminals, human traffickers, and deadly drugs to flow into American communities," Cheung declared.
"When President Trump returns to the White House, he will secure the border and ensure Americans are safe once again," the campaign spokesman promised.
