The Biden administration remains under intense fire for its handling of matters at the U.S. border. Right now, the nation is undergoing a situation where hundreds to thousands of unaccompanied minors are arriving at the Southern border.

This high influx of migrant children has prompted the Biden administration to open a facility in Texas designed to house these young people. This is a decision that hasn’t gone over well; in fact, many Americans who voted for Biden are even comparing this to the “kids in cages” backlash faced by the Trump administration.
The White House is attempting to mitigate this backlash by stating that the housing facilities at the Southern border are only temporary measures. However, Washington Examiner confirms that left-wing riots are beginning to break out in response to Biden’s facilities housing migrant kids.
Left-wing Blowback Against the Biden Administration
Over the weekend, Antifa took out its frustration with the Biden administration’s immigration policies on businesses in Portland, Oregon. Rioters violently and recklessly laid siege by smashing windows and hurling rocks; likewise, Antifa intentionally interfered with travel by completely shutting down roads in Portland.

This is not the first time that Portland has suffered violence from Antifa; however, it appears to be getting to be too much for even law enforcement to handle. Disturbing online videos show Portland police officers actually backing down from Antifa demonstrators and furthermore struggling with the necessary resources to handle ongoing problems.
Following the violent displays this weekend, law enforcement only managed to apprehend two individuals; however, the Portland Police Department has indicated that additional arrests may follow in the near future.
Reactions to the Latest Antifa Riots
Amid the footage and images that made their way online, many Americans expressed horror at the violence in Portland this weekend.
Others also extended sympathy to the businesses that will suffer from damages incurred thanks to Antifa’s antics. These attacks on businesses in the Portland community arrive with the already-ongoing scarce rates of employment as it is.

The White House, thus far, is notably silent regarding the attacks in Portland this past weekend. This shouldn’t come as a shock, though, seeing as Biden has an established history of downplaying the threats posed by Antifa.
