'Our bodies are our last sanctuary of liberty and freedom, I will defend that for everyone, even the progressive socialist jackasses who must be saved from themselves...'

Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Allen West, who was recently hospitalized for COVID-19, said his experience fighting the virus has made him even more anti-vax mandate.

Over the weekend, West announced that he and his wife had contracted COVID-19.

He noted that while his wife was vaccinated, he was not, but both were prescribed hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin after testing positive for the virus.

Shortly after, West was hospitalized for pneumonia, which he said was caused by COVID-19. Both he and his wife received monoclonal antibody infusion therapy after entering the hospital, he added.

Overall, the entire experience was a reminder that direct treatment for COVID-19 through monoclonal antibody infusion therapy is much more effective than a vaccine, West said.

“Instead of jabbing Americans, and not illegal immigrants, with a dangerous shot which injects them with these spike proteins … guess what? I now have natural immunity and double the antibodies, and that’s science,” West added.

Every American should be able to make the choice for himself whether the vaccine is worthwhile, he continued.

West is a former Texas Republican Party chair and Florida congressman. He announced in July that he would challenge Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who is running for a third term and has been endorsed by Donald Trump.

West’s announcement came a month after he resigned as chair of the Republican Party of Texas.
