But nowadays, it seems like every other week brings another story of a Hollywood elite taking potshots at the very nation that made them wealthy and famous.

Superman doesn’t want to fight for the “American way” anymore, and now this – you won’t believe what they’re doing to Captain America.
Anthony Mackie, who plays Captain America in the upcoming “Captain America: Brave New World,” sparked outrage on January 27. He declared to a foreign audience that America shouldn’t be one of the things represented by the star-spangled superhero.
Yes, patriots, you read that right – Captain AMERICA shouldn’t represent America. Let that sink in!
During a press event in Rome, Mackie stated: “For me, Captain America represents a lot of different things, and I don’t think the term ‘America’ should be one of those representations.”
He went on to claim the character instead represents “honor, dignity, and integrity” – as if those aren’t core American values!
Conservative voices were quick to respond to this latest Hollywood slight. Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro didn’t mince words, writing: “These studios at some point will have to stop giving their stars a platform to utterly destroy their product.”
Just like the successful boycotts during the Bud Light fiasco of 2023, conservatives are proving yet again that going woke means going broke.
Faster than you can say “box office disaster,” Mackie suddenly remembered his patriotism. In an Instagram post attempting damage control (and boy, was there damage to control!), he wrote:
“Let me be clear about this, I’m a proud American and taking on the shield of a hero like CAP is the honor of a lifetime. I have the utmost respect for those who serve and have served our country. CAP has universal characteristics that people all over the world can relate to.”
Too little, too late? The MAGA movement has shown time and again that Americans are tired of Hollywood’s anti-patriotic agenda.
Country music star John Rich voiced what many Americans were thinking, declaring he wouldn’t be taking his kids to see what he dubbed “Captain Anti-America.”
Political commentator Dan Bongino was equally direct, tweeting: “Another s*** movie I won’t be seeing.”
