Jim Carrey announced he’s not going to bash President Trump or his supporters anymore in 2020. It’s a new year and he’s done with that phase.
For the last two years, the “Dumb and Dumber” actor expressed his disdain for Trump through his art, which he regularly posted to Twitter.

Carrey told IndieWire that he won’t waste another moment on the president. The comedian claims he didn’t bring that negativity with him in 2020, and his life has been “extraordinary.”
“I’ve said what I need to say, and I’ve allowed it to inhabit my body and cause whatever low vibrations do to a body. You know, I sounded my yelp, I warned people, and that’s enough. They know how I feel,” Carrey said. “So I’ll vote in November, and that’s that. If the wheels come off the wagon completely, then I’ll meet them in the street. But I’m not going to waste another moment of my time with a narcissist, President… what’s his name again?”
Instead, Carrey has been enjoying movies such as the Oscar-nominated South Korean film “Parasite.” He also mentioned how much he loved watching Adam Sandler in “Uncut Gems.”
Carrey’s new attitude might also be because of his two releases coming out in February: The second season of Showtime’s “Kidding” and Paramount Pictures’ “Sonic the Hedgehog.”
Carey knows insulting 63 million Americans on social media regularly is not going to help him sell tickets.
